Account Manager/Business Development Manager (Staffing & Recruitment Industry)

About the Role

We are looking for a versatile Business Development /Account Manager from the staffing/recruitment/RPO industry who can operate as both a Hunter (new client acquisition for recruitment mandates) and a Farmer (account growth and relationship management) across the UK, Europe, and India markets. You'll be responsible for selling our talent acquisition/staffing services to recent clients while growing and retaining existing client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Hunter (New Business — Staffing Mandates)
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients requiring recruitment/staffing/RPO services across UK, European, and Indian markets
- Build outbound pipeline through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, networking, referrals, and staffing industry events
- Pitch our recruitment services (contract staffing, permanent hiring, RPO, executive search, etc.)



to HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Leaders, and hiring decision-makers
- Negotiate commercial terms — fee percentages, payment terms, SLAs, exclusivity/non-exclusivity arrangements
- Convert leads into signed staffing agreements/MSAs and onboard new clients
- Track competitor staffing agencies, market rates, and emerging client opportunities in target regions

Farmer (Account Management & Growth)
- Manage relationships with existing staffing clients to maximize repeat business and wallet share
- Identify opportunities to expand into new departments, job families, or geographies within existing accounts
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients — coordinating closely with the recruitment delivery team to ensure fulfillment, TAT, and quality expectations are met
- Resolve escalations related to delivery delays, candidate quality, or commercial disputes
