Prospect Infosystem is looking for a versatile Business Analyst cum QA Analyst to join our evening shift team. This is a hybrid role suited to someone who enjoys owning a feature end-to-end — from understanding what the client needs, to defining it clearly for the team, to making sure what gets built actually works as intended. You'll be the thread connecting requirements to delivery, translating business needs into specifications and then validating that the final product meets them.
This role is ideal for a candidate who wants broader ownership of the product lifecycle rather than working in a narrow, siloed function.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Ownership
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from clients and internal stakeholders
Translate business needs into explicit functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Create process flows, wireframes, and documentation (BRD/FRD/SRS)
Liaise with clients — including international clients — during evening/overlapping time zones
Delivery Collaboration
Work closely with project managers and developers to ensure requirements are correctly understood and implemented
Identify gaps, risks, and process improvement opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
Participate in sprint planning and reviews, representing both the business and quality perspective
Quality Validation
Design test cases and scenarios directly from the requirements you've defined, ensuring nothing is lost in translation
Execute functional, regression, and UAT to confirm the delivered product matches the original business intent
Log, track, and manage defects through to closure using tools like JIRA
