Develop and modify CNC hobbing programs for various gear profiles and specifications.
Create, customize, and optimize post processors for CNC hobbing machines.
Set cutting parameters, tools, offsets, and machine coordinates.
Analyze drawings and gear specifications to prepare machining processes.
Optimize programs for cycle time, tool life, accuracy, and surface finish.
Perform program prove-out, debugging, and on-machine corrections.
Troubleshoot machining, programming, and post-processor issues.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure dimensional accuracy and process reliability.
