Role Overview
Ashika Group is seeking an experienced compliance skilled to support its Alternative Investment Funds (Category I & II) and Private Credit Fund business. The role will be responsible for driving regulatory compliance across the fund lifecycle, managing interactions with SEBI and other regulatory authorities, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, and partnering with internal stakeholders to build a robust compliance framework aligned with the Group's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the compliance function for Category I and Category II AIFs and the Private Credit Fund business, ensuring ongoing compliance with SEBI regulations, circulars, and regulatory guidelines.
Manage end-to-end regulatory filings, periodic disclosures, and statutory reporting with SEBI and other regulatory bodies within prescribed timelines.
Act as the primary point of contact for SEBI on regulatory submissions, inspections, audits, approvals, clarifications, and correspondence.
Advise business, investment, operations, finance, legal,



and senior management on regulatory requirements and compliance implications for new products, transactions, and fund operations.
Review fund documentation, placement memorandums, investment agreements, distribution arrangements, and investor communications from a regulatory perspective.
Develop, implement, and strengthen compliance policies, SOPs, internal controls, and governance frameworks for the AIF platform.
Monitor investment conditions, leverage limits, related-party transactions, valuation, and other regulatory obligations applicable to AIFs.
Lead regulatory compliance reviews, internal audits, and compliance testing while ensuring timely closure of observations.
Track evolving SEBI regulations and industry developments, assess business impact, and drive implementation of regulatory changes.
Coordinate with trustees, custodians, auditors, legal counsel, consultants, fund administrators, and other external stakeholders
