Crane Erection Supervisor

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Qualification: ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience: 5-8 Years

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the complete erection, dismantling, and commissioning of heavy cranes as per OEM guidelines.
- Lead and manage rigging teams during crane assembly and lifting operations.
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and erection crews to ensure protected and efficient execution.
- Plan and supervise lifting activities, including the selection and inspection of slings, shackles, spreader beams, and other lifting accessories.
- Ensure all lifting operations comply with approved lifting plans, load charts, and statutory safety regulations.
- Inspect crane components before assembly and ensure proper alignment, torqueing, and installation.
- Coordinate with client representatives, project engineers, and site management throughout the erection process.
- Conduct pre-job safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments before commencement of work.




- Monitor daily progress, maintain erection records, and prepare activity reports.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, lifting standards, and quality requirements.
