Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for raw materials, electrical components, and industrial machinery parts.
- Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to maximize cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Purchase Order (PO) Management: Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) based on production requirements and inventory reorder points.
- Coordination & Delivery: Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of goods and resolve any shipment delays or quality discrepancies.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels in coordination with warehouse/store teams to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Documentation & ERP:



Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, rate contracts, and bill entries in the ERP/accounting system.
- Vendor Performance Evaluation: Periodically assess supplier performance based on delivery lead times, product quality, and competitive pricing.

Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Commerce.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement within an electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing setup.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or custom inventory management systems).
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical and mechanical components, statutory compliance (GST, e-way bills), and procurement best practices.
