Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to manage institutional customers and oversee the complete tendering process—from identifying opportunities and preparing bids to commercial negotiation, order closure and post-order coordination.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify suitable government, PSU and private-sector tenders.
- Manage key institutional, EPC and infrastructure accounts.
- Study tender documents, technical specifications and commercial conditions.
- Coordinate with Design, Costing, Finance and Production teams for bid preparation.
- Prepare and submit complete techno-commercial offers within deadlines.
- Handle tender portals such as GeM, CPPP and state procurement portals.
- Manage EMDs, tender fees, bank guarantees, PBGs and related documentation.




- Attend pre-bid meetings, reverse auctions and commercial negotiations.
- Prepare tender compliance statements and ensure all required documents are submitted.
- Follow up with customers from enquiry stage through order finalization.
- Coordinate post-order requirements, including drawing approvals, inspections, dispatches and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain tender trackers, account-wise opportunity pipelines and order forecasts.
- Develop long-term relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, utilities and major industrial customers.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering, institutional sales or key account management.
- Experience in the transformer, switchgear, electrical equipment, EPC or power-sector industry is preferred.
- Good understanding of government and private tendering procedures.
- Robust commercial negotiation and customer-handling skills.
- Working knowledge of EMD, PBG, ABG, paym
