Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure pulses, grains, oilseeds, spices, and other agro commodities at competitive prices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, traders, commission agents, and suppliers.
- Negotiate purchase prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor commodity markets, crop conditions, arrivals, and pricing trends.
- Coordinate with sales, logistics, and warehouse teams for timely deliveries.
- Ensure quality standards are met before procurement.
- Maintain purchase records, supplier databases, and procurement reports.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers to strengthen the vendor network.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Agriculture, Business Administration,



or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in agro commodities.
- Good knowledge of pulses, grains, oilseeds, spices, and agricultural markets.
- Robust negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and make timely purchasing decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement documentation.
