Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and control refrigeration systems including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and cooling towers
- Maintain required temperature and humidity levels in cold rooms, blast freezers, and storage units
- Perform routine inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of refrigeration equipment
- Identify and resolve mechanical or electrical faults in refrigeration systems
- Ensure proper functioning of ammonia based refrigeration systems.
- Record daily temperature logs and equipment performance reports
- Support production team by ensuring uninterrupted cold chain operations
- Follow safety procedures and comply with industry regulations (HACCP, GMP, ISO standards if applicable)
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams during breakdowns or repairs
- Ensure energy efficiency and optimal performance of refrigeration systems
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in refrigeration operations (cold storage or frozen food industry preferred)
- Knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems (Ammonia System)
- Understanding of compressors, valves, condensers, and evaporators
- Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with cold chain management and food safety standards
- Ability to read temperature gauges, pressure charts, and system indicators
- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent technical qualification preferred

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
