Key Responsibilities

Develop should-cost models for mechanical components and assemblies.

Analyze manufacturing processes including sheet metal, plastics, rubber, machined parts, and assemblies.

Support suppliers during recent product development, process planning, and machine selection.

Perform target costing, cost breakdowns, and supplier quotation analysis.

Prepare negotiation dossiers and support commercial negotiations.

Identify manufacturing cost drivers and optimize production methods.

Conduct cost mapping, cycle time estimation, and manufacturing feasibility analysis.

Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; requirements.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of machine rates, overhead calculations, and manufacturing economics.

Hands-on experience with should-costing tools such as aPriori, TcPCM, or Costimator.

Work Location: In person
