Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Handle criminal litigation matters under the guidance of senior advocates.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs.
- Attend court hearings and assist in trials and arguments.
- Review FIRs, charge sheets, investigation reports, and evidence.
- Meet with clients to understand case facts and provide updates.
- Coordinate with police authorities, court staff, and other legal professionals.
- Maintain case files, documentation, and litigation calendars.
- Ensure timely filing of pleadings and compliance with court procedures.
Qualifications:
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- Enrolled with the State Bar Council.
- 3-5 years of experience in criminal litigation.
Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of criminal law and criminal procedure.
- Excellent legal drafting and research skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
- High ethical standards and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
