We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, maintaining vouchers, and supporting tax and payroll tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Voucher Management: Prepare, verify, and systematically file all accounting vouchers (receipts, payments, journals) and supporting documents.
- Daily Bookkeeping: Enter daily financial transactions accurately into our accounting software (e.g., Tally) and maintain the general ledger.
- Bank Reconciliations: Cross-check company accounting records with bank statements on a monthly basis to resolve any differences.
- Invoicing & Payments: Create and send out client invoices, track incoming payments, and process vendor bills and employee expenses.
- Tax & Compliance: Assist in calculating TDS, preparing data for monthly GST filings,
and supporting the annual audit process.
- Payroll & Petty Cash: Help process monthly employee salaries and manage the daily petty cash fund for minor office expenses.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related financial field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of practical experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
- Core Knowledge: Basic understanding of Indian accounting rules, GST, and TDS.
- Soft Skills: High accuracy with numbers, trustworthy with confidential data, and valuable organizational habits.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
