Job Summary

The Civil Project Auditor is responsible for auditing civil construction projects to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, engineering standards, company policies, quality requirements, project schedules, budgets, and statutory regulations. The role focuses on identifying risks, improving project controls, verifying documentation, and ensuring productive project execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of ongoing and completed civil construction projects.
- Review project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure processes.
- Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, BOQs, contracts, and applicable codes.
- Audit project costs, budgets, bills, and resource utilization.
- Review contractor and subcontractor performance and contractual compliance.
- Verify measurement books (MBs), work orders, RA bills, and final bills.
- Assess quality control procedures and compliance with quality standards.
- Audit procurement processes related to construction materials and services.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental,



and statutory regulations.
- Identify project risks, cost overruns, delays, and control weaknesses.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting observations, root causes, and recommendations.
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, finance, procurement, and quality teams.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance project governance and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Additional certification in Internal Audit, Project Management, Quality Management, or Contracts is preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in civil construction, project management, or project auditing.

Technical Skills
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and project lifecycle.
- Understanding of contracts, BOQs, tendering, and billing procedures.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6 or Micro
