Responsibilities:
- Program VMC machines using SolidCAM.
- Set up VMC machines, including fixtures, cutting tools, work offsets, and tool offsets.
- Operate VMC machines to produce components according to engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and GD&T.;
- Select suitable cutting tools and machining parameters.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and make necessary program or setup corrections.
- Monitor machining operations to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Optimize machining cycles to improve productivity.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setup issues.
- Follow quality standards and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- ITI/Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-8 years of experience as a VMC Setter, VMC Operator, and VMC Programmer.
- Robust working knowledge of SolidCAM programming.
- Experience with Fanuc or Mitsubishi VMC controls is preferred.
- Ability to independently handle complete VMC programming, setup, and production.
- Good understanding of cutting tools, fixtures, and machining processes.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
