Role Description

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with 3–5 years of relevant experience to join our expanding team in Mumbai.

The selected candidate will support electrical engineering, design, troubleshooting, project execution, testing, and commissioning activities. The role will involve both office-based engineering work and site-related technical support depending on project requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Reading and understanding electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Preparing and reviewing electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, cable schedules, and technical documentation.
- Supporting electrical system design, equipment selection, load calculations, cable sizing, protection philosophy, and power distribution requirements.
- Troubleshooting electrical and control-system faults using drawings, manuals, test results, and available technical information.
- Coordinating with customers, vendors, contractors,



and internal project teams for technical clarifications and project execution.
- Supporting installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and system modification activities.
- Preparing technical reports, service reports, inspection reports, test records, and project documentation.
- Reviewing equipment specifications, datasheets, quotations, and vendor technical submissions.
- Supporting project planning and ensuring assigned activities are completed within required timelines.
- Following applicable electrical safety requirements, engineering standards, and project specifications.
- Providing technical support to customers and field engineers when required.
- Willingness to travel for project, commissioning, troubleshooting, or site-support assignments when required.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering, projects, maintenance, service, commissioning, industrial systems, marine systems, or similar technical environments.
- Good understanding of electrical power distribution and electrical control systems.
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of electrical components such as breakers, contactors, relays, motors, transformers, VFDs, control panels, and protection devices.
- Understanding of power systems, cable sizing, protection, earthing, and electrical safety practices.
- Familiarity with PLC, HMI, SCADA,



automation, or instrumentation systems will be an added advantage.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software will be preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good analytical and systematic troubleshooting skills.
- Positive written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively within project deadlines.
