We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with 6–8 years of experience, preferably from the FMCG industry , to drive data-driven insights and support business decision-making. The candidate will work with business and technology teams to develop analytical models and translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning and statistical models to solve business problems.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Work on use cases such as sales forecasting, demand planning, customer analytics, pricing, promotion effectiveness, and supply chain analytics .
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Build dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
- Develop and optimize predictive models and ensure their deployment and performance.
- Work with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, availability, and reliability.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 6–8 years of experience in Data Science / Advanced Analytics / Machine Learning .
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL .
- Experience with Machine Learning, Statistics, Predictive Analytics and Data Visualization .
- Strong understanding of data preparation, feature engineering, model development and validation.
- Experience working with large datasets and cloud/data platforms.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
- FMCG/Consumer Goods industry experience is preferred.
- SAP experience/exposure will be an added advantage , particularly experience working with SAP data or SAP-driven business processes.
