We are looking for a Backup & Storage Administrator with robust experience in enterprise backup, storage, and network infrastructure.
Mandatory Skills
- PPDM (PowerProtect Data Manager) – backup and recovery administration.
- Dell EMC Data Domain (DD) – configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, replication, and backup integration.
- Strong knowledge of backup policies, schedules, retention, restores, and backup troubleshooting .
- Experience with NetApp Storage administration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Cisco Switches and basic SAN/network connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) and Data Domain environments.
- Configure backup jobs, policies, schedules, retention, and recovery operations.
- Troubleshoot backup failures, replication issues, and storage capacity/performance problems.
- Manage and support NetApp storage environments, including capacity and performance monitoring.
- Support Cisco switch configuration, connectivity troubleshooting, and infrastructure-related incidents.
- Perform incident management, RCA, patching, upgrades, and maintain operational documentation.
