Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Ticketing Counsellor with strong expertise in end-to-end airline ticketing and Amadeus GDS . The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling the complete ticketing cycle, from flight search and fare quotation to booking, ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellation, refunds, and post-ticketing support .

The role will primarily support corporate clients, VVIP travellers, and complex domestic & international travel requirements , while coordinating with airlines and internal teams to ensure seamless travel services.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end domestic and international air ticketing independently.
- Manage flight availability, fare searches, itinerary planning, reservations, and ticket issuance using Amadeus .
- Handle PNR creation, modifications, queue management, ticketing and revalidation .
- Process reissues, cancellations, refunds, no-shows, voids, and schedule changes as per airline/GDS rules.
- Provide accurate fare quotations, fare rules, baggage information, and travel options to clients.
- Handle complex itineraries, multi-city bookings, connections, and corporate travel requirements.
- Manage corporate client and VVIP travel arrangements with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and travel partners for fares, confirmations, changes, and special requests.
- Monitor and manage Amadeus queues to ensure timely action on bookings and ticketing.




- Handle urgent and last-minute travel requirements efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, tickets, refunds, and client communications.
- Coordinate closely with corporate travel, holidays, operations, and finance teams .
- Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of ticketing-related issues.
- Stay updated on airline policies, fare rules, ticketing procedures, and industry changes .

Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in airline ticketing, preferably in a corporate travel workplace.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Amadeus GDS , including reservations and queue management.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end ticketing procedures .
- Experience handling reissue, refund, cancellation, void, no-show, and schedule-change cases .
- Good understanding of fare rules, ticketing time limits, baggage policies, and airline procedures .
- Experience handling domestic and international sectors .
- Excellent English communication and client-handling skills .
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle VVIP clients and high-pressure/urgent travel requirements .
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Graduate degree in any discipline; relevant travel/ticketing certifications are an advantage.
