Power BI Lead
Experience:* 7+ Years
Location:* Hyderabad, bangalore, mumbai, pune, gurugram, mohali,panchkula
Shift:* Afternoon Shift, starts at maybe 2:30pm ending at 11:00 PM IST

## Key Responsibilities

* Act as a technical extension of the onsite *BI/Data Analytics team*.
* Gather and understand requirements from business stakeholders.
* Translate business requirements into scalable BI and analytics solutions.
* Design reporting and analytics solutions using *Power BI*.
* Define technical *design specifications and data contracts*.
* Establish and enforce development, coding and QA standards.
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to BI/Data Engineering developers.
* Develop and review complex Power BI dashboards, reports and data models.
* Develop complex *DAX measures and calculations*.
* Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and data processes.
* Work hands-on with *SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS*.
* Design and develop ETL/data pipelines using SSIS and related technologies.
* Work with modern *Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)* as well as legacy data pipelines.
* Support Power BI cloud deployment, Gateway configuration and scheduled data refreshes.
* Evaluate different analytics and reporting options and present recommendations to business stakeholders.




* Review technical solutions and ensure performance, scalability and data quality.
* Troubleshoot complex BI, SQL, ETL and data-related issues.
* Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
* Ensure deliverables meet client expectations for quality, productivity and technical standards.

## Required Skills

* 7+ years of experience in *BI, Data Analytics, Data Engineering or related technologies*.
* Strong hands-on experience with *Power BI*.
* Strong expertise in *SQL Server and SQL*.
* Strong knowledge of *DAX and Data Modelling*.
* Hands-on experience with *ETL / SSIS*.
* Positive understanding of *SSRS and SSAS*.
* Experience with Power BI Service, Gateway and cloud deployment.
* Strong understanding of data engineering and data pipeline concepts.
* Experience with data architecture and BI solution design.
* Experience gathering requirements and interacting with business stakeholders.
* Ability to create technical design specifications and define data contracts.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

## Good to Have
* Experience with *Medallion Architecture – Bronze/Silver/Gold*.
* Experience with *Veeva integration*, including iframe/Compass.
