Role Description
Supra Controls is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to deploy and commission its proprietary industrial data systems such as historians and alarm management platforms at customer sites. The role operates within Level 2.5 to DMZ layers of industrial architectures and requires solid understanding of OT systems, industrial communication protocols, and plant environments.

Qualifications
Commission and configure:
Industrial data historians
Alarm management systems
Integrate plant data from:




PLCs / DCS / SCADA systems
Work with communication protocols:
OPC DA / UA
Modbus TCP / RTU
TCP/IP, Serial communication
File-based integrations (CSV, logs, etc.)
Interface with:
Level 2/3 systems (SCADA, MES, Enterprise)
Deploy solutions in:
DMZ / OT network architectures
Perform:
Site commissioning
Testing & validation
Customer training

Background in:
Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Automation
Experience with:
PLC / SCADA systems (e.g., ABB, Honeywell, Siemens, Rockwell, etc.)
Strong understanding of:
Industrial communication protocols (OPC, Modbus)
Networking basics (IP, ports, firewalls)
Familiarity with:
Windows-based industrial systems
Basic database concepts (SQL queries, data logging)

This role is not suitable for pure IT/software development profiles without industrial automation or plant system experience.
