Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-wide data models that support operational systems, analytics, business intelligence, and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, data architecture, metadata management, and data governance. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, data engineers, and application development teams to ensure scalable, high-quality, and consistent data solutions

Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise applications and analytical platform
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data model
Develop dimensional data models (Star Schema and Snowflake Schema) for enterprise data warehouse
Design normalized and denormalized database structures to support transactional and analytical workload
Define entities, relationships, keys, constraints, data standards, and naming convention
Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, business glossaries, and data lineage documentatio
Perform data mapping, source-to-target mapping, and impact analysis for integration project
Work closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Application Teams, and Business Analysts to implement data solution
Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, security, and quality standard
Optimize data models for scalability, maintainability, and performanc
Support data migration, cloud modernization, and digital transformation initiative
Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions,



and code review

Required Skills
7 to 10 years of IT experience with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise data modeling

Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling
Relational Database Design
Dimensional Modeling (Kimball Methodology)
OLTP and OLAP Database Design
Hands-on experience with data modeling tools such
ERwin Data Modeler
ER/Studio
SAP PowerDesigner
Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler
Lucidchart or Visio (preferred)
Strong SQL expertise and database design experience with:
Oracle
SQL Server
PostgreSQL
MySQL
Snowflake
Amazon Redshift
Azure Synapse Analytics
Experience with Data Warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT methodologies
Knowledge of metadata management, master data management (MDM), and data governance
Understanding of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Preferred Skills
Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or PySpark
Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or Fivetran
Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
Familiarity with data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Ataccama, or Alation
Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB
Knowledge of REST APIs and data integration concepts
Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or GCP) are an added advantage
