About the Role
They are looking for an experienced Technical Coordinator to lead and manage their Design Draftsmen team.
The person will be responsible for managing pre-sales and post-sales design activities , coordinating with clients, consultants, business development, fabricators and internal teams, and ensuring that all design work is completed on time and as per project requirements.
The role requires good technical knowledge, solid coordination skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage a team and multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Design Management
Lead and manage the Design Draftsmen team .
Manage design activities for both pre-sales and post-sales orders .
Allocate work to team members and set project-wise targets.




Prepare and monitor the design lifecycle plan for each project.
Ensure design activities are completed within the agreed timelines.
Project & Technical Coordination
Coordinate with the Business Development/Sales team, clients, structural consultants, fabricators, contractors and operations team .
Collect required drawings and technical information from clients, such as shell plans, layouts, structural drawings and tower crane details.
Prepare the initial technical/design information required for the Safety Screen System .
Coordinate with the structural consultant/ARC for design development and submissions.
Review design submissions, including layouts, sections and load reactions.
Discuss design issues with the client and obtain approval.
Coordinate with the consultant for design changes, improvements and revised drawings.
Resolve technical and design-related queries by coordinating with all concerned teams.
Documentation & Reporting
Ensure all project design documents and reports are updated on time.
Maintain project records in Excel and ERP .
Track design changes, revisions and approvals.
Maintain proper records of design submissions and project progress.
Participate in design review and coordination meetings.
Provide regular updates to senior management.
Product Development
Participate in new product development activities.
Identify opportunities to improve existing products.




Work on design improvements to increase product safety, effectiveness and cost efficiency .
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Provide required design inputs to the Sales Coordinator within 2 days .
Submit designs to the client within 7 days after receiving complete drawings and required information.
Submit fabrication design drawings to the Production team within 10 days .
Track the complete pre-sales and post-sales design lifecycle .
Ensure smooth coordination between internal and external stakeholders.
Develop 2 new products or improve existing products to enhance safety and reduce cost.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering .
Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
8–12 years of relevant experience in technical/design coordination.
Experience in high-rise residential/commercial construction, real estate or infrastructure will be preferred.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D .
Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel .
Knowledge of STAAD Pro will be an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications like shell plan, structural sections, load reactions and load calculations.
Strong team management and coordination skills.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in technical/design coordination , preferably in high-rise construction or infrastructure projects. The candidate should be comfortable managing a design team, reviewing technical drawings, coordinating with consultants and clients, and ensuring timely completion of design deliverables.
