Job Description: Store Manager / Sales Executive (Furniture Retail)Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused, and results-driven Store Manager / Sales Executive with a strong background in the furniture retail industry. In this role, you will be responsible for driving retail sales, delivering exceptional customer service, managing store displays, and ensuring smooth day-to-day showroom operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Drive and exceed individual and store sales targets by proactively engaging with customers, understanding their home furnishing needs, and recommending suitable products.
- Upsell and cross-sell furniture collections, home decor, and accessories to maximize transaction value.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Deliver an exceptional in-store shopping experience by offering expert advice on interior styling, materials, durability, and pricing.
- Handle customer inquiries, negotiate quotes professionally, and ensure prompt resolution of any post-purchase issues or feedback.
- Showroom & Visual Merchandising:
- Maintain an impeccably organized, clean, and visually appealing showroom floor.
- Ensure furniture displays, lighting, and layout alignments meet brand standards to attract walk-in customers and showcase high-value pieces effectively.
- Inventory & Operations (For Store Manager role):
- Monitor stock levels,



manage inventory audits, coordinate deliveries, and place timely replenishment orders.
- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, manage billing/POS operations, and maintain accurate daily sales reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 1 to 4 years of proven retail sales or store management experience specifically within the furniture, home decor, or interior retail sector.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
- Strong understanding of furniture materials (solid wood, engineered wood, upholstery fabrics, etc.) and current interior design trends.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations, inventory management systems, and POS billing software.
- Education: High School Diploma / Graduate in any stream (degree or diploma in interior design/retail management is a plus).
- Attributes: Proactive, target-oriented, well-groomed, and capable of working on weekends and adaptable retail shifts.
