Your work profile

The Solution Architect (Manager/ Senior Manager) is responsible for designing commercially viable, scalable, and differentiated Finance Operate solutions. The role integrates finance domain expertise, transformation levers, process design, and commercial structuring to develop outcome-led deals with built-in efficiency and value realization.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience structuring large Finance Operate or Managed Services deals involving multiple geographies, process towers, global stakeholders, transition, AI led transformation and operating model changes.

Operate Solution Design & Structuring

- Lead end-to-end solutioning across Finance towers (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A;, Treasury, Tax), including:

- Designing target operating models covering scope, service delivery model, and location strategy

- Embedding finance transformation levers into solutions to drive efficiency and measurable value, including:

- Automation (RPA, AI/ML tools)
- Process standardization and harmonization
- Offshoring and pyramid optimization
- Digital enablement (ERP optimization, analytics, self-service)
- Policy simplification and controls optimization

- Ensuring all transformation levers are:

- Clearly defined and solutioned
- Quantified with expected benefits
- Sequenced through a realistic implementation roadmap




- Explicitly linked to business case outcomes (cost, productivity, quality, and control improvements)
- Commercial & Business Case Development

- Build pricing and cost models (FTE, transaction, outcome-based).

- Translate transformation levers into measurable financial advantages:

§ Productivity gains

§ Headcount reduction

§ Cycle time improvements

§ Working capital impact etc.,

- Align value realization with contract constructs (gainshare, glidepaths where applicable).

- Respond to RFPs

- Have experience of understanding RFP requirements, engage client stakeholders in workshops to solution the response and be able to create compelling proposals

Key Skills Required

10-14 years of relevant pre-sales and solutioning experience in a Finance BPO / Shared Services / GBS environment.

- Strong understanding of different work streams in large Operate programs – Transition Management, Transformation/ advisory, continuous improvement, Operate delivery, KPI baselining etc.
- Proven client-facing experience to interact and understand client requirements and translate it into solutioning
- Knowledge of various commercial models in Finance BPO business
- Experience in linking transformation levers to commercial models, transition maps
- Background with consulting firms

Key Skills

- Pre-sales experience in Finance BPO environment
- Solutioning expertise in managing large deals
- Experience in running large pursuits
