Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Confluent Kafka Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and experience handling critical 24x7 applications.
The candidate should have strong expertise in designing and implementing real-time data processing solutions using Kafka and working with the Confluent Kafka ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with Confluent Kafka and handling critical 24x7 applications.
- Expertise in designing and providing solutions for real-time data processing using Kafka for different business use cases.
- Strong expertise with Confluent Kafka components including Brokers, ZooKeeper, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry and Flink.
- Hands-on experience installing and configuring Confluent Source and Sink Connectors to send and receive data from various applications.
- Hands-on experience writing Flink code for various real-time data processing use cases.
- Experience handling complex and unstructured data formats including nested JSON and Avro.
- Experience working with AWS cloud services including S3, Lambda and RDS.
- Robust troubleshooting experience with Kafka incidents and problem management, including timely problem identification, successful resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to document solutions and provide guidance to the team on Kafka best practices and standards.
