12 hour shift (11:30-11:30)/7 days shift

Supports the kitchen team in food preparation, cooking assistance, and maintaining a clean, effective kitchen for a fast-paced burger and loaded fries operation.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation

Wash, peel, cut, and portion vegetables, toppings, and garnishes (lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeños, etc.)

Prepare and portion patties, buns, cheese, sauces, and other burger components

Pre-cut and blanch/par-fry potatoes for fries; prepare loaded fries toppings (cheese sauce, jalapeños, sour cream, etc.)

Mix and prepare house sauces, dips, and marinades per recipe standards

Restock prep stations with ingredients before and during service

Cooking Support

Assist the cook/chef with grilling patties, frying fries, and assembling burgers under supervision

Operate fryers, grills, and toasters safely (once trained)

Monitor food temperatures and holding times to ensure freshness and safety

Plate and garnish orders according to presentation standards

Kitchen Maintenance

Wash utensils, pans, prep boards, and kitchen equipment throughout shift

Keep prep stations, grills,



and fryers clean and sanitized during and after service

Take out kitchen waste and maintain clean floors in work area

Organize walk-in/reach-in fridges and storage shelves (FIFO rotation)

Inventory & Stock

Monitor stock levels of buns, patties, cheese, toppings, and sauces

Inform supervisor of low stock or expiring items

Assist with receiving and storing deliveries

Safety & Hygiene

Follow food safety, HACCP, and hygiene protocols at all times

Wear proper PPE (gloves, apron, hairnet) as required

Handle raw meat and ready-to-eat items separately to avoid cross-contamination

Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately

Requirements

Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods

Willingness to learn grill/fryer operations

Team player with good communication

Working Hours

12 hrs shift (11:30-11:30) 7 days/week
