Required Experience

- 5-10 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2-3 years working hands-on with Databricks.
- Strong proficiency in PySpark, Spark SQL,and Python.




- Deep understanding of Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture, and Medallion design patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms Azure (Azure Databricks), AWS, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Unity Catalog, Databricks Workflows, and cluster/job optimization.
- Solid SQL skills and experience with data modeling (dimensional/star schema).
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or dbt.
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud data platforms.

Positive to Have

- Databricks certification (e.g., Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate/Professional).
- Experience with MLflow and supporting ML pipelines.
- Exposure to streaming data (Structured Streaming, Kafka, Event Hubs).
- Experience in BFSI/financial services data environments.
- Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code for Databricks environments.
