Role & responsibilities

1. Project Planning, Financial Analysis, MIS & Compliance

- Manage short-, medium- and long-term project liquidity through weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting and monitoring of receivables, payables and expected inflows.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost projections and variance analysis against actual expenditure.
- Ensure adherence to internal finance policies, SOPs and established processes.
- Prepare financial scenarios, feasibility analyses and sensitivity analyses to support management decision-making.
- Prepare timely project MIS and financial reports for management, external agencies and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project insurance coverage, renewals and related compliance requirements.
- Maintain the Work Order series and ensure appropriate pre-approvals and approvals as per internal procedures.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, consultants and external agencies for CA certificates, RERA certificates and other project-related certifications.
- Prepare and monitor MIS covering Capital Employed, Debt Position, Sales & Collections, Cash Flow, project costs and other key financial parameters.
- Support the Business Development team in preparing financial feasibility studies and evaluating the financial viability of new projects.
- Coordinate with external tax consultants for tax opinions and related matters.

2. Project Costing, Billing & Payment Coordination

- Monitor costs incurred against approved budgets and project cost estimates.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of invoices as per applicable agreements and project requirements.
- Compile and validate data required for payment processing.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders and follow up for timely release of approved payments.
- Prepare financial and project-related information required by lawyers, consultants, auditors and external agencies.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of RERA certificates and supporting documentation.

3. Fund Raising & Banking / Financial Institution Coordination





- Assess project funding requirements and prepare loan proposals and financial information for lenders.
- Coordinate with landowners, financial institutions, consultants and internal stakeholders for loan documentation.
- Collect and coordinate submission of title documents, net-worth statements, valuation reports and other lender requirements.
- Coordinate loan disbursement documentation and follow up with financial institutions for timely disbursements.
- Monitor compliance requirements relating to existing and proposed project loans.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of project valuation reports.
- Coordinate with lenders and consultants for Lenders Engineer reports.
- Prepare and coordinate documentation required for refinancing of existing loans.

4. Billing, Collections & Receivables Management

- Ensure timely and accurate billing in accordance with project agreements and applicable terms.
- Manage monthly fixed billing and variable billing based on collections, costs incurred or other agreed parameters.
- Monitor billing, collections and outstanding receivables.
- Follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely realization of receivables.
- Prepare collection and receivables MIS for management review.

5. Tax, Compliance & Financial Operations

- Coordinate advance tax calculations and related requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of finance-related statutory, contractual and project compliance.
- Coordinate with external consultants and authorities for tax, regulatory and financial matters.
- Prepare cases, proposals and supporting documentation for obtaining professional opinions from external consultants and authorities.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of project finance records.
- Undertake other finance, MIS, project coordination and analytical responsibilities assigned by management.

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 45 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Experience in real estate, infrastructure, project finance, construction will be preferred.
- Solid knowledge of project finance, budgeting, cash flow management, MIS, taxation, RERA and financial reporting.
