Accountabilities and Responsibilities

- Development, Installation and Configuration : Set up and configure Zabbix monitoring systems, including agents and proxies.
- Ready to work in UK shift hours from office in hybrid manner.
- Develop new monitoring functionality to meet the business requirements in line with defined development standards.
- Performance Monitoring : Monitor system performance, network health, and application metrics using Zabbix.
- Alert Management : Define thresholds and configure alerts to notify relevant teams of potential issues.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues related to the monitoring system and the infrastructure being monitored.
- Automation : Develop scripts to automate monitoring tasks and integrate Zabbix with other tools.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaboration : Work with application teams to define monitoring requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Project Management: Work as part of the project team to identify services that require monitoring,



set up within the agreed timeframe and scope parameters.

Qualifications:

- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience :
- Several years of experience in IT infrastructure monitoring and SNMP Administration, with specific expertise in Zabbix.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems
- Experience and knowledge of server application stack (Tomcat / API / ActiveMQ / JBOSS)
- Experience in working with Open Source products (GCC, automake, MySQL, Subversion)
- Proven ability to diagnose and root cause investigations
- Desirable knowledge in SNMP, LAMP stack, Web server and database technologies
- Desirable experience in server administration and delivering network efficient solutions
- Positive technical, written and spoken English.
- Certifications : Relevant certifications in IT infrastructure and monitoring tools can be advantageous
- Good technical, written and spoken English
