About the Assignment

HQTS India has received an inspection requirement from WRMS for a QC / Production Inspector to be deployed at the client's production facility in Chattarpur, New Delhi.

The selected candidate will support production monitoring, quality inspection, shop-floor supervision, project execution, and quality documentation for products manufactured at the facility.

WRMS is engaged in the manufacturing and execution of:

- Metal fixtures
- Furniture
- Retail display units
- Kiosks
- Interior fit-out products

WRMS provides complete store fit-out solutions for leading brands such as Apple, Samsung, Iconic, and GANT. Products are manufactured at the production facility and subsequently installed at respective client locations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Read and interpret technical, fabrication, production, and engineering drawings.
- Monitor metal fabrication and furniture manufacturing processes.
- Monitor production planning and shop-floor activities.
- Conduct in-process and final quality inspections.
- Verify product dimensions, workmanship, material quality, finishing, and overall quality.
- Inspect fabricated and finished products against approved drawings and specifications.
- Support project execution and shop-floor supervision.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Project teams.
- Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and deviations.
- Coordinate corrective actions and follow up on quality issues.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
- Prepare and implement SOPs, inspection procedures,



and process guidelines for project execution and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with client-specific quality requirements.
- Report inspection findings and quality concerns to relevant stakeholders.
- Support timely closure of quality issues before dispatch / installation.

Required Experience & Competencies

- Hands-on experience in metal fabrication and furniture manufacturing.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings.
- Experience in production planning and monitoring.
- Experience in in-process and final quality inspection.
- Experience in project execution and shop-floor supervision.
- Strong coordination skills with Production, Quality, and Project teams.
- Experience preparing SOPs, inspection procedures, and process guidelines.
- Valuable understanding of quality control requirements and inspection processes.
- Ability to work independently at a client's production facility.
- Strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:

Qualification

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in:

- Mechanical Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Or a related technical discipline
