Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and enhance Oracle Retail applications including RMS, RPM, ReIM, RIB, ReSA, SIM, Allocation, and BI Publisher.
- Develop and deploy RICE components Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions.
- Develop custom solutions based on business requirements and optimize existing Oracle Retail functionality.
- Perform system integrations with ERP, CRM, POS, WMS, and eCommerce platforms using APIs, web services, and other integration technologies.
- Work extensively with Pro*C, PL/SQL, SQL, Unix/Shell scripting, Oracle Forms, and BI Publisher.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, application issues, and technical defects.
- Support Oracle Retail upgrades, patches, enhancements, and recent feature implementations.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for customizations, configurations, integrations, and development activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution while maintaining system stability and performance.

Preferred candidate profile





- 5+ years of overall experience with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Retail.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Retail technical development / techno-functional consulting.
- Strong expertise in Oracle RMS with experience in other modules such as RPM, ReIM, RIB, ReSA, SIM, Allocation, and BI Publisher.
- Hands-on experience in Pro*C, PL/SQL, SQL, Unix/Shell Scripting, Oracle Forms, and BI Publisher.
- Strong experience in RICE components Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions.
- Experience in integrating Oracle Retail applications with ERP, CRM, POS, WMS, and eCommerce systems.
- Good understanding of APIs, web services, system integrations, and data flows.
- Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, enhancements, upgrades, and patches.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes and Oracle Retail architecture.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with technical, functional, and business teams.
- Candidates with experience in technical leadership or mentoring junior team members will be preferred.
