Job Description

Cloud Network Architect
Experience: 12-16

Responsibilites include

1.Network Architect to fulfil business requirements, strong experience in creating detailed network architecture designs (HLD & LLD), both OnPrem and Cloud (Azure or AWS).
2. Understand an existing customer network landscape, analyse the gaps and improvements, suggest improvements with the help of latest tools and technologies
3. Design network solutions that are scalable, secure, and reliable and can meet the current and future needs of the organization. Assess and suggest hardware and software solutions to support network infrastructure.
4. Interact with the Global customers directly, Lead the implementation of network solutions, providing seamless integration with existing systems. Work together with IT teams to set up and install network equipment and software.
5. Conduct complete testing to identify and resolve potential issues before deployment. Execute and enforce security measures to protect the organization's network infrastructure.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to network security. Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks or areas for improvement. Implement optimization strategies to enhance network efficiency and reliability.

Establishing strong relationships with potential customers is a key aspect of presales. This involves effective communication, building trust, and ensuring that the proposed solutions align with the customer's goals.
8. Work closely with cross-functional teams, sales teams, internal stakeholders including system administrators, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from lead generation to sales. Provide technical expertise and guidance to support teams during troubleshooting and issue resolution.
9. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions. Evaluate and implement recent technologies that can enhance the organization's network capabilities.
10. Provide networking products /solutions demonstration and Proof-of-concept (PoC). - Create a trusted technical advisor relationship with customers and internal teams. - Lead the meetings and present the network infrastructure solution design to prospective customers.
11. The presales team is responsible for reviewing the requirements, preparing responses, and demonstrating how their solution meets the criteria outlined in the RFP
12. Design, implement, and manage cloud networking solutions at on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
13. Architect and implement networking solutions using Azure networking services such as Virtual Networks (VNets), Load Balancers, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Application Gateway, and Network Security Groups (NSGs).
14. Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, security teams, and DevOps, to create solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
15. Ensure cloud networking solutions are designed for resilience, redundancy, and high availability while maintaining cost efficiency.
16. Lead the design and implementation of secure network infrastructures, following best practices for security, compliance, and governance.




17. Troubleshoot and optimize network performance within the Azure cloud environment, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and issues.
18. Participate in cloud migration projects, advising on network-related best practices.
19. Develop and maintain documentation for network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Network Solutions Architect or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software. Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
3. Experience with cloud networking, cloud migrations (preferably Azure), network implementations, enhancements and virtualization technologies.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
5. Products: Cisco core Routing and Switching, Load Balancers, IDS/IPS, Firewalls (PaloAlto, FortiGate, Cisco ASA, Juniper, Azure, AWS), SD-WAN.
Certifications: CCNP, JNCIP, Azure Networking or equivalent are desirable
6. 7+ years of experience in network architecture designing, with at least 3+ years focused on Azure cloud environments.
7. In-depth experience with Azure networking components including VNets, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, NSGs, Application Gateway, and Firewall configurations.
8. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and encryption protocols in the Azure environment.
9. Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, ARM templates, Azure CLI).
10. Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud architectures, connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute), and on-premises/cloud integrations.
11. Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, BGP, etc.).
12. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
13. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
14. Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable
