SAP BRIM Senior Functional Consultant – BRIM / OTC

About the Role

Our consulting client is looking for a Senior SAP BRIM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience across SAP BRIM, Subscription Billing, Convergent Invoicing, Revenue Recognition (RAR), and end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.

This is a BRIM-heavy functional role for someone who has owned BRIM solution design, configuration, testing, and integrations within SaaS or subscription-based business models. Generic SAP SD experience without hands-on SAP BRIM implementation experience will not be sufficient.

Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end SAP BRIM functional design for New Business, Renewals, Upsells, Amendments, and Cancellations
- Configure and support SAP BRIM modules including SOM, CI, and FI-CA
- Work with SAP RAR for revenue recognition and ASC 606 compliance use cases
- Translate business requirements into BRIM functional designs and configurations
- Lead unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and production validation
- Partner with technical teams on SAP S/4HANA–BRIM and BRIM–EMS integrations




- Perform defect analysis, RCA, and solutioning in BRIM landscapes
- Act as the BRIM functional SME for business, finance, and engineering stakeholders

Required Skills / What You Bring

- Robust hands-on SAP BRIM experience
- Deep understanding of subscription-based OTC processes
- 8+ years of SAP Functional / Business Analyst experience
- Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA integrated with SAP BRIM
- Expertise in subscription lifecycle, billing plans, contract management, and collections
- Strong communication skills across business and technical teams
- Ability to independently own BRIM functional decisions
- Self-driven with strong attention to detail
- Ability to explain complex BRIM flows in business-friendly language
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

Nice to Have

- SAP RAR experience
- ASC 606 revenue compliance exposure
- SaaS or subscription industry experience
- Global rollout or multi-entity implementation experience
- Agile delivery experience
- SAP SD or SAP BRIM certification
