JOB TITLE: Senior Payroll Specialist

REPORTS TO: Manager-Service Delivery

Position Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end monthly India payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payroll completion.
Collect, validate, and process payroll inputs including current hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, incentives, allowances, deductions, arrears, and Loss of Pay.
Perform and validate the payroll register, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and net salary including variance analysis.
Process and validate Full & Final settlements, including leave encashment, notice pay/recovery, gratuity, incentives, and other applicable payments or deductions.
Ensure accurate calculation and deduction of Provident Fund (PF) contributions for employees and employers.
Handle PF portal activities, including new employee registrations, employee exits, and termination updates.
Prepare, validate, and complete monthly PF ECR submissions, challans, payments, and reconciliations within statutory deadlines.




Manage ESIC portal operations, including employee enrollment, ESI number generation, and ESI card issuance.
Calculate Employees' State Insurance (ESI) contributions and ensure accurate statutory submissions, payments, and reconciliations.
Calculate and process Professional Tax (PT) according to applicable state-specific slabs and requirements.
Handle Professional tax portal activities including challans generation and payments.
Manage Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) calculations, contributions, payments, and applicable state-specific submissions.
Calculate employee Income Tax / TDS on Salary, considering applicable tax regimes, declarations, exemptions, deductions, and taxable income.
Manage employee tax declaration and investment-proof processing and make necessary payroll tax adjustments.
Manage employee reimbursement, reimbursement proof verification and process.
