Role description:

Senior IT Security Engineer We are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Senior IT Security Engineer to support our operations in Delhi. The role focuses on security incident investigation, network security operations, technical risk assessment, and continuous improvement of the organization’s security posture. The successful candidate will assess findings based on actual business risk and operational impact, challenge assumptions when needed, and provide practical recommendations. We are also looking for a collaborative team player who can work effectively across technical and business teams, build positive working relationships, and contribute to a culture of shared ownership and continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

- Investigate security incidents, identify root causes, coordinate remediation, and document impact and resolution.
- Configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot network and security infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and monitoring tools.
- Support vulnerability management, security hardening, compliance requirements, and operational security standards.
- Perform risk-based assessments considering threat exposure, attack paths, business criticality,



and operational impact.
- Maintain clear documentation and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, security awareness, and evaluation of new security technologies.

Skills:

- Solid hands-on experience in IT security, network security, incident response, and security operations.
- Solid knowledge of enterprise networking, security architecture, threat detection, vulnerability management, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to prioritize security findings by business risk instead of relying only on tool-generated severity ratings.
- Strong analytical skills, independent decision-making, clear documentation, and practical problem solving.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, accountable, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Relevant security certifications such as GIAC, Security+, CCNP Security, Palo Alto, or Microsoft Security certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in complex enterprise or multinational environments.
- Exposure to security monitoring, SIEM platforms, threat intelligence, and incident response processes is beneficial.
