Role & responsibilities

Must-Have** (Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

- Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript across backend and frontend layers
- Architect and design scalable, resilient microservices-based systems
- Deep understanding of system architecture, distributed systems, and design patterns
- Experience in full stack architecture (React/Angular + backend services)
- Design and govern API strategy, contracts, and integrations
- Robust experience with high-scale systems, performance optimization, and scalability
- Define and enforce engineering standards, coding practices, and architectural guidelines
- Provide technical leadership and drive architectural decisions across teams

Good-to-Have

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud-native architecture
- Exposure to event-driven architecture, messaging systems (Kafka, etc.)
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience in handling high-volume data/media systems
- Strong mentoring and leadership experience across engineering teams
- Ability to drive innovation and adopt emerging technologies.





Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

- Define and drive overall system architecture for scalable and high-performance applications
- Design microservices-based architecture using Java/Kotlin for backend systems
- Guide full stack development strategy including frontend frameworks (React/Angular)
- Define API architecture, data flow, and integration strategies across systems
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and performance optimization
- Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks and technical risks
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to align architecture with business goals
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Drive best practices in coding, design patterns, and architecture governance
- Review system designs and code to ensure compliance with architecture standards
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple teams
- Drive continuous improvement in tools, frameworks, and development processes
