Frontend Developer (PR1 Level)

WIRmachenDRUCK, a German web-to-print company, offers graphic designers and print resellers a vast range of highly customizable products at low prices, from promotional products to customized beverage cans.
Build and enhance a responsive, high-performance e-commerce website. The role involves developing reusable user-interface components, integrating APIs, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, optimizing page performance, and collaborating with UX, backend, and QA teams. Front-end web development with strong hands-on expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization. Working knowledge of Vue.js or Nuxt.js is desirable.
Good understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, DOM manipulation, events, and hands-on debugging of frontend issues.
Experience with jQuery and Ajax.
Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with design tools such as Figma.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of semantic HTML and accessibility best practices.
Basic knowledge of SEO-friendly frontend development.
Experience debugging and troubleshooting UI/browser issues.
Basic to good understanding of TypeScript.




Experience with browser dev tools for debugging and performance analysis.
Basic understanding of Core Web Vitals, page speed, lazy loading, image optimization, and caching.
Knowledge of component-based frontend development.
Ability to use AI tools effectively for frontend development, debugging, code improvement, documentation, productivity, and problem-solving.
Understanding of design-to-code workflows and collaboration with UI/UX teams.
Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks/libraries such as Vue.js, Nuxt.js, or React.js.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day frontend workflows.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as OpenAI Codex, Amazon Q, or similar tools.
