Automation Test Engineer We are looking for an Automation test engineer with experience in Playwright and AWS.
Key responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
Define automation solutions, framework standards, reusable components, and best practices across projects.
Lead automation delivery for web, API, and end-to-end testing initiatives.
Collaborate with business, development, DevOps, and client stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.
Leverage AWS services to support test environments, automation execution, and cloud-native testing solutions.
Drive CI/CD implementation and test automation integration using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
Develop and execute SQL/PLSQL queries for test data setup, validation, and backend testing.
Mentor team members and support adoption of modern automation and quality engineering practices.




Utilize AI-powered tools and accelerators to improve automation productivity and delivery efficiency.

Required Skills
~7+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
~ Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript in enterprise-scale projects.
~ Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch and defining automation solutions.
~ Practical experience working with AWS cloud services.
~ Solid experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps integration.
~ Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL.
~ Insurance domain experience preferred.
~ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team mentoring skills.

The role requires 3 days on site in the office based in Chennai weekly and the rest from home.
The contract is for 3 to 6 months initially.
