Role & responsibilities: :

The Plant Head is accountable for the overall business performance, customer relationships, statutory standing and safe operation of the CETP unit. The unit is engaged in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the CETP receiving industrial effluent from member industries, treating it through physical, chemical and biological processes, and supplying treated/recycled water back to industries in compliance with statutory norms and customer requirements.

The position exists to lead the unit as a business anchored in robust administration (people/HR, finance, IT, procurement and general administration), commercial growth and stakeholder / regulatory standing. It owns the unit P&L;, retains and grows member-industry customers, and safeguards the unit's regulatory and community standing. It is a predominantly ADMINISTRATIVE and outward-facing leadership role; day-to-day operations are owned by the Production Head, with this role providing oversight only (~30%). A technical education is not required.

Key Responsibilities

- Administration: people/HR, finance, IT, procurement & general administration
- Unit P&L;, budget and collections ownership
- Customer relationship, retention & revenue growth (member industries)
- Regulatory / statutory compliance and authority liaison




- Stakeholder, community, PR & CSR management Operations oversight (secondary) safe, compliant CETP running via the Production Head

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering , MBA (Finance) / MBA (Operations) or MBA (Marketing) is strongly preferred.
- Total Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience within the Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant industry.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role managing overall Plant P&L;.
- Essential exposure: administration & people management, customer / stakeholder management, regulatory & statutory liaison, and running operations through a technical team.

15 to 20 years overall, with at least 5 to 7 years in a unit-leadership, administrative or P&L; / commercial leadership role ideally in industrial services, utilities, water/wastewater or process environments.
