Role Overview:

The Application Engineer owns robot deployment, configuration, and customer enablement at assigned sites. This role ensures every robot is correctly mapped, configured, and commissioned, that the customer's on-site team is trained and self-sufficient, and that deployment issues are coordinated smoothly with Technical Support and Site Service Engineers.

Support Coordination

- Work closely with the Technical Support Engineer
- Support Site Service Engineers during deployment
- Escalate issues & provide feedback
- Ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or equivalent)
- 1–3 years of experience in robotics, automation,



or field engineering deployment roles; solid freshers with relevant project experience may also be considered
- Working understanding of robot navigation, mapping, or mission-planning concepts is an advantage

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read site layouts/floor plans and translate them into navigation maps
- Clear communication skills for training and enabling customer teams
- Working knowledge of robot software/hardware interfaces and configuration tools
- Basic working knowledge of Linux (command line navigation, file systems, service/process checks)
- Comfortable coordinating across L1 technicians, L3 support, and customer stakeholders
- Organized documentation habits for handover and knowledge continuity
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in industrial automation, robotics, field service, maintenance, or technical support roles
- Exposure to autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), AGVs, or automation systems will be an added advantage
