About Scaler School of Technology
Scaler School of Technology (SST) is a 4-year residential undergraduate Computer Science programme at our Electronic City campus in Bengaluru. Students learn from working engineers, build real products, and are mentored by people who have shipped at scale.

About the role
We are building the in-house content team at SST, and the Video Editor owns the edit end to end. You will cut everything from campus films and Super Mentor sessions to Shorts and performance assets, and you will shape how our story looks and sounds.

This is a full-time, on-site, individual contributor role at our Electronic City campus in Bengaluru, reporting to the Associate Director, Content.

What you will do
Own the edit from raw footage to publish
Ship 2 to 3 short-form videos a day when the calendar demands it
Cut performance assets with multiple hook and thumbnail variants
Build motion graphics in After Effects
Handle colour grading and sound design
Repurpose long-form into short-form without losing the story
Work from shot breakdowns and keep a clean project structure




Hit publish deadlines consistently
Brief and review freelance editors when we scale up
Hold a consistent visual language across everything SST publishes
Support the content PODs on day to day requirements

What we are looking for
3 to 4 years of editing experience
Robust command of Premiere Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve
Ability to build motion graphics from scratch, not just apply presets
Comfort with both long-form and short-form
A showreel of published work with links
Speed without losing consistency
A real ear for music, pacing and sound design
Design sense and thumbnail sense is a plus
Willing to work in-house and on-site
Use of AI tools is encouraged, not discouraged
