Role & responsibilities To build and own Business Development pipeline across Western India, with a primary focus on C&I; solar EPC projects for industrial, manufacturing, and FMCG clients.
Identify, qualify, and pursue C&I; solar EPC prospects across the Western India geography (Mumbai,Pune,Gujarat,Goa)
Build and maintain a live pipeline of 3x4x coverage against quarterly order targets
Own the full sales cycle: initial client engagement site assessment techno-commercial proposal negotiation PO closure
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with energy heads, facility managers, CFOs, and procurement decision-makers at target accounts
Coordinate with Design, Estimation, and Commercial teams to prepare accurate, competitive proposals
Lead techno-commercial discussions and negotiate contract terms, payment schedules, performance guarantees, and LD structures
Ensure proposal quality, pricing discipline, and margin compliance on every deal
Track competitor activity,



pricing trends, and policy developments in the West India solar market
Maintain a clean, updated CRM pipeline with accurate deal stage, deal value, and next-action discipline
Provide weekly pipeline updates and monthly BD reviews to the AVP

Preferred candidate profile
8 to 16 years total; minimum 4 to 5 years in C&I; solar EPC sales with a credible MW-scale deal track record.
Must demonstrate independently closed C&I; EPC projects in the 1 MWp20 MWp range.
Active relationships with energy/facility decision-makers in West India industrial accounts. Network quality matters more than network size.
Understanding of state-level OA regulations in Maharashtra/Gujarat/Goa.

Experience structuring OA PPAs or Group Captive proposals is a solid differentiator.
