Job Title: Lathe Machine Operator (MGPS Anode Manufacturing)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machine Operator to manufacture precision components for Marine Growth Prevention Systems , including copper and aluminum anodes. The role requires hands-on experience in lathe operations, attention to detail, and the ability to work as per technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate conventional lathe machines for machining anodes and related components
Perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, and finishing operations
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish within required tolerances
Use measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Set up machines, select tools, and maintain appropriate cutting parameters




Conduct basic machine maintenance and ensure cleanliness of the workspace
Maintain production records and report defects or deviations
Follow all safety and quality standards

Requirements:
ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
2–5 years of experience in lathe machine operations
Experience with copper, aluminum, or other non-ferrous metals preferred
Ability to understand technical drawings and tolerances
Robust focus on quality and precision

Reporting: Reports to Production Manager / Supervisor

Salary:

As per industry standards

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
