Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Relevant experience in Planning/Production Planning preferred
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Planning Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and solid analytical skills. The candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and coordinating production activities to ensure timely completion of projects and targets.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain production/project planning schedules.
Coordinate with production, purchase, stores, and other departments for smooth workflow.
Monitor daily/weekly production plans and track progress against targets.
Prepare MIS reports, planning reports, and performance summaries.
Identify delays or bottlenecks and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
Maintain accurate records and update planning data regularly.
Analyze data and provide reports to management for decision-making.
Ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials, and resources.
Required Skills
*Excellent knowledge of MS Excel is mandatory.
Solid knowledge of Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
Good planning and analytical skills.
Strong coordination and communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Valuable understanding of manufacturing/production processes.
Candidate Profile
BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Robust proficiency in MS Excel.
Candidates with experience in production planning, manufacturing, or project planning will be preferred.
