Job Summary:

Responsible for developing, optimizing, and scaling microbial processes, including fermentation, culture development, and downstream processes, to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize microbial fermentation and production processes
Conduct experiments for process improvement and scale-up
Work on microbial culture selection, growth optimization, and media development
Monitor and analyze critical process parameters
Support technology transfer from R&D; to pilot and commercial-scale production
Troubleshoot process deviations and identify root causes
Conduct data analysis and prepare technical reports
Collaborate with R&D;, Production, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance teams
Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and batch records
Support process validation and continuous improvement activities
Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, biosafety, and regulatory requirements
Stay updated with developments in microbial technology and industrial biotechnology

Skills Required:
Solid knowledge of Microbiology, Fermentation, and Bioprocessing




Understanding of microbial growth kinetics and culture optimization
Knowledge of bioreactors, fermentation parameters, and process scale-up
Experience with experimental design and data analysis
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and contamination control
Understanding of downstream processing is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Positive technical documentation and reporting skills

Qualification & Experience:
M.Sc. / M.Tech / PhD in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or related field
3–8 years of relevant experience in microbial process development or bioprocessing
Experience in industrial microbiology, fermentation, or biotech/pharma manufacturing preferred

Preferred Experience:
Experience in fermentation, probiotics, enzymes, bio-products, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or industrial microbiology
Exposure to process scale-up, technology transfer, and commercial manufacturing
Experience with bioreactors and fermentation process optimization

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
