Your work profile

We are looking for a Database Developer / Administrator with solid hands-on experience in PostgreSQL DBA + Development. The ideal candidate should have expertise in database performance, SQL development, backup/recovery, schema design, migration, and Time Series Databases, preferably QuestDB. Experience in high-throughput, real-time environments will be highly preferred.

Key skills required:





Manage and develop PostgreSQL databases across development, testing, and production environments.
Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting.
Design and implement backup and recovery strategies and execute database recovery procedures.
Develop complex SQL queries, functions, stored procedures, and database objects.
Design and maintain database schemas and Physical Data Models (PDM).
Work on database migration, upgrades, and data movement projects.
Manage and optimize Time Series Databases, preferably QuestDB.
Support high-volume, high-throughput and real-time data processing environments.
Monitor database health, capacity, performance, availability, and reliability.
Collaborate with application developers, architects, DevOps, and data teams to optimize database solutions.
Identify database issues and implement proactive performance and reliability improvements.
