Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API applications using Playwright, and TypeScript.
Create and execute automated test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
Perform API testing by validating requests, responses, authentication, business logic, and system integrations.
Conduct database testing, including SQL query validation, data integrity verification, backend data reconciliation, and database-driven test scenarios.
Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines and support quality gates across the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development process.
Perform performance and exploratory testing to identify bottlenecks, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement.
Analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous quality improvements across releases.

Mandatory Skills
Proven expertise in Playwright & Typescript for up-to-date web application automation testing.




Strong experience with Selenium for UI automation and test development.
Hands-on experience in API testing, including REST API validation, automation, and integration testing.
Robust experience in Database Testing, including SQL queries, data validation, backend verification, and data integrity testing.
Experience implementing and maintaining automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
Good understanding of DevOps practices and software release processes.
Hands-on experience working with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Positive to Have Skills
Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) or AI-powered testing solutions.
Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
Experience with Python

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, and test automation.
Proven experience in web, API, and database testing within Agile development environments.
