Position: Executive Purchase

Reporting to: Purchase Manager

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to join our Purchase department at our Chakan, Pune facility. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end procurement activities for OPEX and MRO items, driving cost-effective and timely sourcing to support uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle procurement of OPEX (Operational Expenditure) items for manufacturing plants, warehouses, and offices
Source and procure MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) materials, consumables, spare parts, safety items, and utilities/services
Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and finalize vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery
Ensure timely procurement to avoid production and maintenance downtime




Identify and develop recent vendors for cost-effective procurement
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements
Drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, EHS, QA, Warehouse, and Finance departments
Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and supporting documents

Desired Candidate Profile:
BE/B.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical preferred)
2–3 years of relevant experience in industrial/manufacturing purchase
Proficient in SAP/ERP systems
Robust negotiation and vendor management skills
Age group: 25–35 years
