Role Summary: The React Frontend Technical Lead is responsible for hands-on technical leadership and delivery of frontend applications using ReactJS and React Native.
This role bridges architecture and execution, ensuring frontend teams deliver high-quality, modular, and performant applications aligned with platform standards.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Delivery
Lead frontend engineers in building ReactJS and React Native applications.
Translate architectural direction into actionable implementation plans.
Own sprint-level technical execution and delivery quality.
Application & Component Design
Design and implement modular frontend features using Atomic Design principles.
Lead implementation of Micro-Frontend patterns and shared UI shells.
Ensure consistent use of MVVM and reactive programming patterns.
System Integration
Lead integration with:
Headless CMS platforms (including content preview support)
Backend services and MBaaS platforms
Coordinate frontend-backend contracts and API usage.
Engineering Practices
Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) and robust unit testing practices.
Guide teams on UI automation testing strategies.
Enforce code quality through reviews and standards.
Mentorship
Mentor developers and support onboarding.
Act as the primary technical escalation point for frontend teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Solid hands-on experience with ReactJS and React Native.
Experience leading frontend delivery in complex applications.
Solid understanding of Micro-Frontend Architecture, Atomic Design, and SDUI.
Experience building cross-platform applications (Web, iOS, Android, Desktop).
Solid testing mindset with TDD experience.
Preferred / Desirable
Experience in retail or associate-facing applications.
Familiarity with device integrations (printers, scanners, payments).
Exposure to B2B domains.
