Job Responsibilities
Guide and supervise samplers in collecting coal samples as per the prescribed sampling procedure.
Ensure proper collection of representative samples through correct increment sampling techniques.
Supervise day-to-day coal sampling activities at the client plant.
Monitor sampling procedures to ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
Verify proper sample identification, handling, labeling, and documentation.
Prepare sampling reports and maintain required records.
Coordinate with the client and sampling team for smooth execution of sampling activities.
Ensure sampling activities are performed safely and efficiently.
Report any deviation or issue related to sampling to the concerned authority.
Perform other sampling-related activities as assigned.
Essential Qualification & Experience
Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Science or Chemistry or related field.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Robust practical knowledge of coal sampling techniques is mandatory.
Experience in coal sampling at a plant/site will be preferred.
Valuable documentation and reporting skills.
Willingness to work at the client site in Dhanbad.
